This 3 bedroom Hampton NH home is currently being renovated with an expected completion by late spring.
Architect's Notes and Ideas:
- The floor plan is designed for open living with cathedral ceilings throughout.
- A focus was placed on efficient living and maximizing available square footage. Designs and details that were integrated to maximize use of space inlcude pocket doors, overhead storage shelves in the master bedroom, and an efficient floor plan that eliminates corridors.
- Aesthetic updates to the exterior include new roof lines, siding, and windows.
- New porches were designed at both entries. The gables at each porch helps to add visual interest to the home.
- Energy improvements and upgrades that the architect, owner, and builder incorporated include spray foam insulation, new doors and windows, a heating and central air conditoning system, and electrical systems throughout.
- There is ample natural light thoughout.
- The addition program includes: a new bathroom, bedroom and entry room. The updated home now features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a generous kitchen and living area.
